As part of an ongoing exploration into the deep rooted issues in graphic design, this project explores the idea of user generated design as well as the concepts of breaking the grid and subverting the function of a digital tool. Using Google Spread Sheets, participants are asked to add their own flag, whatever interpretation one might have of it, to a data base of flags which was then converted into a collective physical flag.

As of summer 2017, the participant flags were turned into a single, united and collaborative fabric flag.
